How to say the phrase "take a test" in Korean?
Just trying to figure out how to say sentences like "Today at school I took a test/exam" in Korean. Also, maybe how to say "I have a test tomorrow." I'm sure sure which verbs to use for "take" and "have" ...
Nancy is right !! 시험을 보다 ^^
but you want to know 'take' and 'have'..
Today at school I took a test/exam
오늘 시험을 봤어, or 오늘 시험을 치뤘어(치루었어)
I have a test tomorrow
내일 시험 봐 or 내일 시험이 있어.
but i guess '보다' used more
================================
Oops.. i was wrong about '치뤘다'
it's 치렀다...
I didn't know until i saw the hailey's correction (고마워요 hailey씨^^)
korean spelling rule was changed 치루다 to 치르다 in 1989
I guess that's the reason hailey hasn't heard it.. .
'치루다 X '
'치르다 O'

I mostly agree with Hoon's answer. But I haven't heard anyone says 오늘 시험 치뤘어, instead we say "시험 치다".
Today at school I took a test/exam = 오늘 학교에서 시험 쳤어.

Going to have - Will have = 있을 거에요.... but "have to do" is 해야 돼요. = must do.

It's not "take" - that's an English usage. It might be have or "do" -- might even be "see an exam". I've used these three and no one ever told me I was wrong, but I'll let a Korean give you the right answer. 시험을 잘 봤어요? Did you do well on the test? 시험을 잘 봤어요! I did well on the test! (uses "see"). I'm interested in the answer ... so I didn't put this in the corrections.

It is correct expression for being two
"Take" is expression that fit some more
たとえば 私は今日試験がある (have)
私は今日試験を受ける (take)
そんなかんじだよ。
説明が足りないけど...
