I'm a middle school English language teacher in both public and private schools since 2016. I taught French for more than 3 years in middle and high school as a temporary teacher. My career in teaching English as a foreign language started by receiving one year of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) provided by the Algerian Ministry Of Education, I've learned how to be a successful teacher (Methodology, ethics…etc). Today, I'm a full-time teacher responsible for 260 pupils aged between 11-16 years. Also, I'm assigned to teach French as an additional subject. My method gives huge importance for the treatment of individual differences, i.e; I focus on all different learning styles known by the acronym: VAKT (Visual-Auditory- Kinesthetic -Tactile). Moreover, my way of teaching most of the time is based on the application of Authentic input and output. I give my learners opportunities to interact as much as possible with me and with their peers. Also, I give feedback to each one of my learners to inform him/her about weaknesses and strengths. I organize challenge activities to create a positive and motivational learning environment. Und wieder eine schöne Stunde mit Nacer Eddine. Wie immer sehr unterhaltsam und lehrreich. Wir haben uns zusammen einen Bericht bei ARTE angeschaut und anschließend darüber diskutiert. Der Lehrer hat auch vorgefertigte Fragebögen und Lückentexte verwendet, womit man dann das Vokabular und das Verständnis trainieren konnte. Vielen Dank!
