Gersende

This is my fifth lesson with Gersende, who helped me prepare for an upcoming trip to France by prepping common travel situations. She answered my many many questions patiently and gave me lots culture and travel tips. Gersende is patient, professional, and a great conversationalist. She made me feel very comfortable speaking from lesson one, and she types down words that I've mistaken or am confused about so I could keep them in my notes. She shares lots of great learning materials too, such as podcasts and learning websites. I cannot recommend her enough! Merci beaucoup Gersende! I hope to learn with you again after my trip!

Gersende is my favorite Italki professor. I've been using Italki for years and I've tried over 15-20 different teachers. Gersende is a true expert at correcting and noting mistakes. She is a great conversationalist, very professional, and always on time. She is so good that I am nervous in writing this post, because I'm afraid too many people will start taking lessons with Gersende and I won't be able to find time slots with her!

Gersende is energetic, well prepared, and attentive. She listens closely and gives useful feedback and notes. Gersende fills every minute with instruction and interaction, making each lesson very productive. I like that Gersende corrects my pronunciation, grammar, and word choice. I had another fantastic lesson with Gersende. She makes sure that I stick to French throughout our lesson. I already see improvements in my French grammar and writing in the short time I have taken lesson with her. Her explanations are tailored for me and focus on the grammar points that I need to improve on. I am looking forward to our next lesson together.
