I honestly think Wendy is one of the best Mandarin teacher's out there. It is clear that teaching is her passion. When I talk to her it's like I'm talking to a friend, that's why it is easier for me to learn. She encourages me to ask many questions and doesn't hesitate to provide great examples and phrases to supplement my curiosity. Before the lesson, she sends me a dialogue with vocabulary to review. This is great for me because there is something prepared beforehand so that I can attempt the new material during the lesson. Wendy has developed a great lesson plan for me and I look forward to improving my Mandarin under her tutelage. Thank you Wendy!!

Wendy is a wonderful tutor and has natural teaching abilities. She is a strong communicator and class is always fun, engaging, and exciting. She's very friendly and outgoing, patient, and understanding. In addition, I'm always surprised by the amount of new material we cover during each class, and through the homework and additional resources that accompany every lesson. Wendy is an excellent teacher, and her lesson was interesting and enjoyable. During the lesson, she introduced me to a plethora of new vocabulary as we discussed a wide range of topics from cuisine to US history. I highly recommend he to anyone needing to improve their language skills.
