I grew up bilingual in Welsh and English, I also speak French and Polish, and I'm currently learning Basque. When I'm not learning or teaching languages, my interests include dancing, cooking and walking.Ja jako nauczyciel
I'm an experienced teacher, both in school and one to one. I taught mathematics in secondary schools for two years, and I've also given private tuition in various subjects since then. I'm also a qualified Welsh/English translator, and the winner of the 2021 "Her Gyfieithu" competition for translating from French to Welsh.

Learning languages as an adult has shown me the importance of independent study and one to one lessons. I like lessons with Robin. He always answers my questions and explains Welsh patterns to me. What I really like about lessons with Robin is that he speaks Welsh during the whole lesson, and if I don't understand something, he tries to explain it in Welsh first before saying it in English. I like Robin's approach that we continuously speak Welsh rather than explaining grammar. I am now become confident enough to practice it with native speakers.

Robin is a kind and patient teacher. I feel like I have learned a lot from our classes, and I think Robin does a good job of challenging me to use the language while also keeping things simple. I look forward to each class!
