Hello students! My name is Parth and I look forward to the opportunity to practice English with you :).
My hobbies include reading, journaling, listening to podcasts, recreational sports, and spending time with friends & family. I also enjoy travelling and meeting new people from all over the world. I believe it is crucial to cultivate a student-centered classroom. I am TEFL Certified and I have 4 years of experience teaching English to children and adults online. I design my classes to be engaging, fun, and interactive. I encourage students to practice the target language as much as possible and to take risks while practicing the language. I am happy to create customized language learning exercises and homework assignments to help students meet their learning goals. I also like to use articles, audio recordings, pre-prepared vocabulary exercises, and writing prompts to assist students as they practice a particular language skill. I spend time building rapport with my student at the beginning of every lesson through interesting conversations. We will then focus on a specific area or areas of English based on the student's needs and interests (i.e. vocabulary, grammar, writing, conversation practice, travel and culture, etc.). I provide plenty of praise during the lesson and perform positive corrections as needed. At the end of the lesson, I request feedback from the student regarding what they liked about the lesson and what they would like to do differently during the next lesson. This was the first time that I have a class with Parth. He is an amazing, passionate and enthusiastic teacher. He made a mock interview for me，which was really helpful.
