Tolga P.

I continue to use Tolga as my primary Turkish language partner and tutor. I am currently scheduling most days of the week with him, and I have begun to notice improvements in my Turkish abilities. Turkish is a difficult language to learn as a native English speaker, but Tolga makes it easy and super enjoyable.

Tolga is always flexible and willing to teach any topic, even if his plan was to teach a different topic that day. He is aware when a certain topic is too advanced for a student's current level, but he will touch on the subject if requested. We spent the last two lessons learning about telling time in Turkish. This topic is more complex than one might think, but he always has a way to explain complex topics in an understandable way. His lessons include a lot of time for speaking and practicing what you learn, not just listening to a lecture.

Tolga continues to be an amazing teacher.

Tolga is always prepared for every lesson. He provides good homework exercises to practice what you learned.

Tolga took a short-notice lesson request from me. He is always flexible in his lesson plans and is willing to teach a new topic if the subject comes up while teaching other material. He seems to always have material for a subject, so it's clear that he is well-prepared and experienced.

My first lesson with Tolga went well. He was interactive and informative, and I see that he has many materials to help his students regardless of their current level. I learned many things, and I will book more lessons with him.
