June tailors our classes to fit my needs exactly. She perfectly blends a good amount of reading, speaking, and listening into our lessons on day to day and deep conversational topics. I have been seeing June regularly for the past few years (albiet not as often as I should) and I am so happy with my progress. I can now read essentially basic chinese (menus, text messages, books with my daughter), my listening comprehension has improved greatly, and I am able to converse and express myself. She is an amazing teacher, I highly recommend her

I had a great first lesson with June (佳佳)! Although I had learned Mandarin Chinese in school before, it has been a while since I was last able to speak it. June then made sure to emphasize pronunciation with me as we go back to the basics. Her teaching style of combining practical applications with story telling make it exciting and motivating for me to want to go all the way with my learning journey! I know now that I want her to be my 老师 until I reach fluency.

June is a great teacher who I've been taking biweekly lessons with for the past few months. My Chinese has improved much faster than I thought it would, and having such a great teacher has helped a lot!

Today’s lesson was a review of 一边 VS 着， and then we moved on to using 被 in passive sentences. Just these few grammar points are already expanding my ability to communicate in Chinese quite a bit, and June is always awesome with teaching me how they apply in many areas. Thank you for the lesson!
