I am a trained linguist with 8+ years of language tutoring. With a degree in linguistics, specializing in Second Language Acquisition, I use up-to-date research on the most efficient way to learn a language. I am high-energy teacher that will share my enthusiasm for language learning, no matter your level. I consistently push you to speed up your learning curve by sharing tips from the latest research. In my classes we use a natural language environment where we talk about everyday topics, interests and dreams. Meanwhile, you will improve patterns and learn grammar in a natural way. I will be both a conversation partner and a coach for, giving personalized tips to help you take your Swedish to the next level.

Great teacher - easy to converse with!
It was quite obvious that Tom knew his stuff! He was great at asking questions and helping me clarify my goals. He was also very motivational both in terms of language and my reasons for learning it. I give him my best recommendations!

Tom is an outstanding teacher. I am so lucky to have found him. I am a linguist, polyglot and work on langauge learning for more than 8 years, and I can say he is definitely a hidden gem on Italki. If you want to improve fast in a really fun way, he is the guy!
