Hi, I am Fay!
I am from Greece and I live in Germany.
I studied Greek Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a specialisation in Linguistics. As a professional Greek language teacher I love teaching Greek as a second or foreign language. On italki, I am both teacher and lerner and I love the prosess of learning a new language and meeting a new culture. I like talking about various topics such as arts, literature, nature, history etc. Some of my hobbys are reading, cooking, pottery making, yoga and travelling.Ja jako nauczyciel

In our first lesson we will discuss about your goals and I will adjust my teaching method to your needs!
For A1-C2 students: We will talk about different interesting topics according to your level. At the end of our class I will send you a PDF with the new words/phrases we learned.
I can also provide you with homework and extra learning material (videos, songs, texts)
For the lessons we will follow a coursebook

Licencjat - LinguisticsMy Bachelor's degree in Philology is an interdisciplinary degree which consists of 60 modules and is focused on 3 core areas:
-Classics (Ancient Greek and Latin)
-Modern Greek and Byzantine Studies
-Linguistics
Apart from the aforementioned core areas the degree offers mandatory pedagogical and education courses and equips graduates with certified didactic and pedagogical proficiency for the job search in the education sector.

TutorAs a tutor at Point I learned how to communicate effectively with my students and since my students where children I learned how explain complex grammar rules in a simple way. During this period I developed my own PDF's with learning material and exercises that can be used by children and adults. Concurrent to my other official positions, I have also worked as a freelance and volunteer teacher to adults. For this reason I adjusted my learning material and I also have several books.
