As always a great lesson and chance to speak about various different topics. Even when I'm having an off day in Japanese ability and can't remember how to say the most basic things, Naoya sensei is always patient and encouraging.

なおやさんはとても優しい人で、話題に真剣に向き合ってくれる人だと思います。僕たちはよく、定型文ではなく、個人的な話題について話します。これは僕にとって大切なことで、本当の会話をしていると感じられるからです。僕は日本語を話すことに少し苦労していましたが、なおやさんのおかげで話す力も上達しました Noaya is a very kind person who genuinely seems to care about the topics you share. Our conversations often delve into personal matters rather than sticking to standard phrases, which I value because it allows for a real conversation. I used to struggle more with speaking the language compared to understanding it, but talking with Noaya has helped me improve in that area as well.
