As a native Dutch speaker who has lived and worked abroad for over seven years, I deeply understand the complexities and beauty of learning a new language. I’ve studied several languages myself— i.e. Spanish, German, French, English, Indonesian, and Latin— to various degrees of success (for instance, don't ask me to string together a sentence in French or Spanish, despite the years of study I had in high school!) so I know firsthand the challenges you might face and which approaches did and did not work for me.
I have both Dutch (mom) and Indonesian (dad) heritage, and have been working, living, and actively learning Bahasa Indonesia in Indonesia for the past 5 years.Ja jako nauczyciel

While I may not be an officially certified language teacher, I bring over four years of experience as a study and thesis mentor. With the right mindset and a positive attitude, we’ll build your confidence and celebrate small victories to keep you motivated. Lessons are personalized to your interests, ensuring immediate application. I’ll adapt to your progress and how you learn best and provide a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. Net mijn tweede les met Shanice gevolgd! Ze is super vriendelijk en kennisvol! Na elke gesprek geeft ze me uitgebreid feedback en bereid ze de gesprekken heel goed voor.
