My classes focus on improving your speaking skills. Through videos and articles, you will learn how to have conversations about a wide range of topics. I use the website TED Talks to discuss fun, interesting and though-provoking subjects. In my lessons you will:
- Become a more confident English speaker
- Expand your vocabulary
- Improve your grammar and pronunciation
- Correct common mistakes made in your speaking
- Practice giving your opinions and expressing yourself
- Enhance your reading and listening skills
- And ultimately be able to talk to native speakers more easily!

I send my students Ted Talks videos and related articles about any kind of topic. After you watch/read these in your free time, we discuss the content in the class. Here you can practice giving your opinions, agreeing & disagreeing, and practice your speaking and listening skills. The class is completely conversational, but we may also go through all the new vocabulary/expressions from the materials. During the class, I correct your mistakes as we speak, while also writing them down in the chat box. I had a 30-minute trial lesson with Tom. He gave me the impression of being a friendly, supportive, and well-prepared teacher, who knew what he was talking about. He encouraged and let me talk a lot during the lesson, I definitely recommend to anyone want to improve their speaking skills.

Another great class !! We talked about a video from tedtalks and while we discuss, Tom gave me feedback on grammar, pronunciation and introduce me to new words and expressions. I'm learning a lot from him !!

It was my third class with Tom and I'm really satisfied! Until now I have learned more than 100 new words just with three classes and I'm so glad because with more vocabulary I can express myself better! I can realize clearly the british accent and he noticed my mistakes and corrected me all the time. Thank you, Tom, see you in our next class!
