Hello! I am Luis Arturo and I would like to be your Spanish teacher. I am a Mexican linguist with a master's degree in Hispanic Linguistics. I like talking, reading (especially literature), and meeting new people. I also love learning other languages — I can speak English, French, and Portuguese.

I specialize in grammar and teaching Spanish as a second language. I have more than four years of experience giving private and group lessons to adults and children of all levels. I really enjoy teaching Spanish and try to ensure that my students have fun while they learn.

My classes have a conversational approach and are prepared according to your needs. Each class, we usually review a specific topic (ex. grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation), and then practice it through conversational exercises.
Mis clases tienen un enfoque comunicativo y siempre las preparo de acuerdo con tus necesidades. I’ve taken classes with Luis for the past few years and can confidently say you won’t find a better Spanish professor. Luis is very knowledgeable of the Spanish language and very passionate about teaching the language. He goes the extra yard to ensure that you have everything you need to succeed.

Luis is a knowledgeable linguist and a great teacher. I have been taking lessons with him twice a week for over a year, and have improved to the point where our classes are now almost entirely in Spanish. He is easy to talk with, and corrects my mistakes clearly and patiently. Luis offers a variety of instructional materials, and tailors both lessons and homework to my interests. He is a professional, always polite and on time. I highly recommend Luis as your Spanish teacher.
