Hi, I'm David, and I come from Liverpool in the UK. I have over ten years of experience helping students like you reach their English language goals.

I specialise in helping intermediate and advanced adult learners improve their English by having interesting conversations. We can talk about anything that you find interesting - whether it's news and current affairs, your favourite music, the latest technology, or even what's happening in the UK. By having natural conversations, you'll become more fluent, learn new words, and feel more confident when you speak English.

I am not just a conversation partner, I'm a qualified teacher with a PGCE in Languages, an MA in Translation, and a CertTESOL (Level 5) from Trinity College London. This means I have lots of experience and I'm a certified professional, so you can be confident learning with me.
Important note: I believe in a more communicative teaching style and I don't focus on teaching grammar rules. We can talk about grammar when it comes up naturally in our conversations, but if you're looking for traditional lessons that mainly focus on grammar, I recommend you choose a different tutor.
