Γεια σας! I'm Georgia, I am a full-time Greek tutor and I love what I do! I find teaching very fulfilling, specially when I see the progress that my students make after our lessons. Being a learner myself, I understand the difficulties of learning a new language, so I am very encouraging and patient with my students :)
In my free time I love reading books, watching series and movies, travelling (when I have the money to do so) and spending time with my loved ones. I love meeting new people and sharing my thoughts and knowledge with others :)

I highly believe that the best way you can actively learn and love the language is to learn with a native!!!!
Learn the everyday expressions and colloquialisms that we use in everyday basis! The "textbook method" isn't that helpful when it comes to meeting new people :)
Of course ALL aspects of a language are important. I can teach you pronunciation, reading, writting, grammar, speaking and of course I can share with you my knowledge about the Greek culture . Don't worry, I won't give you a headache by expecting you to learn all the grammar rules by the book, there are more fun ways to learn something!

I understand that every person learns in a dirrefent way and has different needs so I'm trying to individualize all my lessons according to my student's needs. What is VERY IMPORTANT for me, is that you feel relaxed during the lessons. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and trying to speak. Remember that I'm here to help you in any way I can.
KEY ADVICE: Don't be afraid of making mistakes and trying to speak, even if you only know how to say "Yes/No"!!! (by the way it's "Ναι (ne) /Όχι (ohee) in Greek)

One of the best if not the best lesson I had in Greek on italki. So many corrections and follow through with written exercises. Which is what I need. Georgia is a great teacher. Highly recommended.

Another great lesson with Georgia! I like how she makes every lesson challenging without frustrations. Her patience and enthusiasm seem endless, which makes her a perfect language teacher. I highly recommend Georgia’s lessons.

I had to take a break from Greek for a while due to work. But we quickly got back to where we had left off. Georgia is an amazing teacher and so enthusiastic and fun.
