Kozo The Translator

Kozo is definitely one of the best Japanese language teachers you could find in Italki.He is professional, patient and enthusiastic about teaching. I enjoyed every lesson with him ! He offers lessons adaptable to students with different levels ( I was a total beginner when I started lessons with him) His teaching methods are effective and unique, he prepares materials carefully for each lesson and kindly answers all my questions. Because I need to improve my Japanese in all four elementary skills as well as the culture knowledge, so we have covered almost everything in Japanese learning. But if you have some specific requirements for your language studies like speaking practice, grammar, writing or anything else, you could find the suitable classes for you with Kozo. I highly recommend Kozo to anyone who is interested in Japanese language learning.

If you’re new to Japanese you’ll love starting Kozos class. This was my first lesson with Kozo and I loved it! He is a perfect teacher for beginners like myself. Upon booking he reached out and introduced himself in a personable way. I let him know my goals to practice conversation I’ve learned from my outside studies. During the meeting he’s very patient and came prepared. I’m amazed how quickly he was able to establish my level of conversation skills and adapt, as some other inexperienced tutors I found myself confused often. I have had the pleasure of learning from Kozo sensei for the last 6 months and over 50 lessons. He is a very good teacher, always patient and kind to you and never makes you feel bad for making mistakes. I encourage anyone who prefers a softer style of teaching to take lessons with Kozo sensei because he will make you feel comfortable enough to continue studying. Went over telling time in this lesson. I learned how to ask what time it was in different areas around the world in my textbook and how to say what the time and day was.

Another great lesson with Kozo-sensei. For today's lesson started with a cultural topic, and Kozo-sensei provided some material and info on a winter event. It was very interesting. After that, we resumed the grammar study with the text book.
