I was born near Milan and raised near Venice in the North of Italy. I am a professional teacher with many years of experience.
After Classical Studies, I graduated in 'Foreign Languages and Literatures' at the University of Padova and I hold the ITALS Master’s Degree in 'Teaching Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners' from the University of Venice, Ca’Foscari.
I worked for many years in the tourism industry and I have travelled all over the world! I like travelling, reading and writing.
Teaching is my passion! I teach both online and in school to students from every part of the world! Every day for me is like starting a journey where I meet different and interesting people!Ja jako nauczyciel
I am a professional but very relaxed person. Learning must be a positive process, without anxiety, fear, boredom. I adopt a communicative approach, without dismissing the importance of focusing on many aspects of the language.
I like to talk to my advanced students about contemporary Italian events, history, customs, dialects and the use of language. We talk about books, films, songs, travels and art.
My travel experience and the knowledge of people of all nationalities have helped me a lot in teaching languages because I have developed empathy and listening skills to meet the needs of my students.

I think learning a language should be fun and engaging so I use a combination of skills and personalize my lessons according to my students' needs and goals.
I establish a good connection with my students: I understand their needs and I make them feel comfortable during classes.
If you are a beginner we will speak Italian from the very first lesson and we will improve your vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar.
If you are at an intermediate or advanced level, we will also work on communication, reading articles, and anything regarding Italian life.
If you want to cancel a class, remember to do it 24 hours before, otherwise you will have to pay for it.

Elena is a brilliant teacher. She has a profound knowledge of the Italian language/culture and of language acquisition for all levels. Her methods are effective, organized and incredibly motivating. Lessons and study routines are personalized together for attainment, mistakes are embraced and quickly corrected and above all - Elena creates a focused environment where you feel truly immersed into a real Italian classroom. She is VERY patient, warm and an absolutely wonderful conversationalist! Highly educated in the Arts, Languages, Humanities and Italian culture. I couldn't ask for a better tutor in advancing my grammar, writing and speaking skills. I'm at an advanced level and to anyone searching to seriously improve and confidently reach their potential, Elena is my first recommendation.

Elena is an excellent and highly-experienced language teacher: she is warm, encouraging, and explains points of grammar clearly. I always feel comfortable speaking in our conversation lessons. Elena is also an insightful and knowledgeable guide to Italian culture. I have learned much from her about Italian history, etiquette, customs, dialects, and language use; we have also discussed classic and contemporary films, poetry, art, and contemporary events. Our lessons are always a rich experience for me.

I always enjoy my lessons with Elena. I feel very comfortable conversing with her and she often provides interesting articles for us to discuss. Our lessons have recently included grammar points and exercises which I have found very useful, especially since her explanations are clear and easy to follow.
