I'm Damla, and I'm excited to be your language teacher! With a background in translation studies and certification in Turkish teaching, I've worked with students from all over the world. You can count on me to bring patience, dedication, and fun into our learning journey.
Traveling is my passion—I love making new friends and having fascinating conversations. When I'm not teaching, I'm hiking, biking, or planning my next adventure.

I would like to be helpful in your language learning journey. I aim to find out the best method and prepare the right schedule for you and fasten your Turkish learning process.Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
First of all, I will determine your Turkish level and then will prepare a schedule for you to fasten your learning process. I will separately deal with your writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills if you like to. Our lesson will depend on your need. If you need more grammer lessons, or speaking lessons, we will focus on that. Also, I will give you homework when needed. Through my experiences, the most important thing in my lessons is note-taking. I'll be also writing what we have talked about in the (Skype) chat or I'll directly share a document that I can write the notes and you can also have those note files after the lesson.Moje materiały dydaktyczne

I had many lessons with Damla, and I will continue to study with her, as she is a very talented teacher and a pleasant person to communicate with. She feels the mood and state of the student and knows at what moment to increase the requirements, and at what moment to switch to more relaxed informal communication. Learning with her is not only useful, but also pleasant - which is very motivating in the difficult process of learning new language.

Damla is my all-time favorite in italki! She is always curious, friendly, positive, patient, and encouraging, all while being professional. I’m not stressed of making mistakes with her. Plus, she keeps English to a minimum, which is very important for me. 5 ⭐️ all the time!

Another great lesson with Damla! She’s very creative in how she teaches—she introduces a grammar point, makes sure I get it, and then has us use it in a fun, engaging way.

Today, we talked about different topics, including the news. Damla always makes sure our discussions are interesting while adjusting the language level to match my needs. This keeps the lesson engaging, and I’m learning vocabulary that’s truly useful to me.
