Dariya is an exceptional Russian teacher, She brings a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth to every lesson, making learning both effective and enjoyable. Her deep knowledge of the Russian language and culture shines through in her teaching, and she always explains concepts clearly and patiently. Dariya has a talent for keeping lessons engaging and tailored to individual needs, whether it’s mastering grammar, improving pronunciation, or practicing conversation. Thanks to her guidance and encouragement, I feel more confident and excited about learning Russian. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher—highly recommended.

I've taken a couple dozen lessons with Daria now and am very impressed with her proficiency, patience, and commitment to teaching. She has many, many resources available for different levels and is willing to explain simple errors that I make over and over (and over). Dariya is such an incredible teacher, and I feel so fortunate to have discovered her! She’s skilled at keeping our conversations flowing smoothly, staying organized and on-topic, and asking such perceptive questions for her students that allow me to think AND express myself in Russian. Likewise, she’s very compassionate, inquisitive, empathetic, patient, and seems to have limitless tolerance for mistakes - which are almost necessary traits for a teacher with a language as cryptic, often mind-numbingly complex, yet elegant as Russian. At the start of our classes, I often feel quite tense and nervous - sometimes, wishing to run away - but by the end of our class, I feel rather sad that one hour flew by so quickly, after enjoying our discussions so much. Of course, Russian is always preferable, but if you need to revert to English as an intermediary language - i.e. for translations, cultural tidbits, or grammar breaks - Dariya can meet your needs so masterfully. Highly recommended!

Dariya can clearly explain the answer to any random grammar question that I have, and she uses her knowledge of my first language to help me understand Russian. She is a very effective teacher.
