Highly recommend for those who seek for a Chinese teacher at every levels. I have been studying with him for over 10 classes now. All I could say is his teaching style is really flexible and lively so you are not gonna be bored at all. With his amiability, you feel no pressure even though you are new to this language. After each classes, you will always get new useful vocabs, phrases, grammar that could be applied in your daily conversation.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all my lessons with Howie. Not only is he knowledgeable in his craft, but he is also patient and very lively each time. In addition, Howie always gives clear and constructive feedback. I just completed my 11th lesson, and I still look forward to more of Howie's lessons. I strongly recommend Howie to whomever is considering to engage a Mandarin language teacher.

Howie is amazing! I've had many lessons with him now and its always great! Not only is he funny and makes the lessons relaxed, he also puts together interesting topics and helps me improve my speaking ability and vocab, step by step!
I definetly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their language ability!

I’ve had many private online tutors but to date, Howie is my favourite. He’s always so positive, knowledgeable, sociable, supportive, understanding and patient, it’s hard not to enjoy his classes! He also coached me to a perfect score for HSK 1 by providing me with lots of materials to study with and review. I look forward to working on the later levels with him in the future.
