I’m Glauber, a language enthusiast and educator from Brazil, where I grew up immersed in the rhythms of Portuguese. Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering foreign languages—a journey that continues today as I independently study French. Beyond language, I integrate Brazil’s vibrant traditions into my teaching—from the infectious beats of forró (a Northeastern dance I’ve practiced for six years) to discussions on history and philosophy. When not teaching or translating, you’ll find me trekking through nature, strumming my guitar, or exploring new music. As the Foreign Languages Coordinator at UESB’s International Office (State University of Southwest Bahia), I design programs that bridge global learners to Brazilian Portuguese through immersive courses. While classes are conducted primarily in the target language (adjusted to your level), I welcome questions in English and Spanish (which I speak fluently) or French (intermediate proficiency), ensuring comfort without compromising immersion.
