I am a French native teacher living in Tokyo. I have studied languages with different methods: in college (English), in full immersion (Spanish), in language schools (Japanese), and with online courses (Italian).
This is what I think:
👉 Learning random words doesn't work > Instead, learn sentences with key vocabulary using a topic that matters.
👉 I had strict teachers and it was so stressful, that I wanted to give up > Learning a language should be fun! If you are not having fun, the method is wrong.

Carine was very clear, friendly, and instructive. She balanced good conversation to help us get to know each other with good instruction, this made the lesson feel informative but also enjoyable. It was nice to get the lesson instruction but also have time to ask questions.
