Hello! my name is Eva Shan, you can call me Eva lǎoshī or shàn lǎoshī. I live in Guangzhou, a very beautiful city in South of China, mandarin and Cantonese are my mother languages. I am a professional Chinese Teacher, I passed the Certificate Examination for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of other languages, and got the certificate issued by Confucius Institute Headquarters. Before I became a Chinese teacher, I was engaged in import and export trading business for more than 10 years, due to my job’s characters I have a lot of experiences to communicate with foreigners，this helps me a lot to know how to teach foreigners to learn Chinese effectively.Ja jako nauczyciel

2. I am highly experienced in teaching children of all ages and levels; I also teach Chinese to adults, ranging in age from 18 to 80 years old.

*I also use songs, games, slideshows, video, worksheets, story books and Chinese ancient poetry to enhance learning.
My teaching style is easy to follow, I have a great sense of humor and make you feel comfortable even when you make a mistake. My 8 year old son really enjoyed his lesson with Eva! He is a beginner in Chinese, and she came prepared for class and was able to explain basic vocabulary in a way he could understand. I was especially impressed with how professional and prepared she was, as well as her ability to communicate clearly with him. He is excited for the next class. Thank you, Eva!

Eva laoshi is great with my shy 6.5 year old son. It appears she has a knack for teaching children. She is very fluent in English as well. You can also tell she is a mother herself which makes a difference in teaching children in the long term. I think she is excellent in pronunciation, organization, enthusiasm, and delivery. She is very proactive, interactive, and prepares well for the class. The 30 minutes with her is packed with reviewing and repeating Chinese. I have given her a list of items my son has been learning in immersion school and she has been reviewing them as well as bringing her own lessons to the class. It’s already been several weeks and my very shy son has warmed up to her and speaking audibly versus on the first class when he struggled to whisper any response. I highly recommend Eva.
