Ciao! Mi chiamo Diana, piacere! I am from a beautiful seaside city in southern Italy, I lived in London for 5 years and now I live in Barcelona. I've been passionate about my language from a young age and I've always known that teaching Italian was my dream job.
I graduated first in Science Education and then in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning with the highest final grades (110/110). Once I moved to London, in 2017, I got an official certification (CLTA) at the International House London. Since then I've been teaching online and in-person students of all ages and different languages and cultures.Ja jako nauczyciel

My approach to teaching is based first of all on the student's needs. It is important to assess the level and the personal interests of the students and to discuss together any arrangement that makes the learning process easier.
Although you will develop a well-balanced knowledge of the four skills, most of the focus will be on improving your comprehension of spoken language and your conversation.
It's also important for me to make the lesson funny and enjoyable... we are going to play games and role plays and sing songs!
My students also find it very useful that I speak Italian with them since day one!

I miei tutor mi hanno lasciato piena libertà nella creazione di materiali e nell'approccio agli studenti. Mi piacerebbe molto continuare a mettere in pratica su Italki cosa ho imparato all'International House e nelle esperienze successive che ho avuto come insegnante privata.

ONLINENel 2020 ho deciso di creare il mio sito per entrare in contatto con studenti di tutto il mondo quando la realtà dell'online è entrata con forza (e in maniera ancora più importante) nella vita di tutti noi.
Sono sempre stata affascinata da questo mondo e trovo che dia infinite possibilità tra cui quella di accorciare le distanze con un clik, di conoscere persone e culture diverse, la flessibilità, la convenienza economica, il risparmio di tempo. Un mondo che ha ancora tanto da scoprire!

Diana is wonderful! She asked questions to understand why I want to learn Italian as well as my background with the language. She explained her teaching style and how the lessons will go and I loved the activity that we completed. I can’t wait for our next lesson!

I have been learning with Diana for months, and I have seen a lot of improvement with her as my teacher. She understands my specific needs, gives me regular feedback and pushes me to learn more. She combines games, exercises, and grammar so that I have a full understanding of the language. Great teacher!
