¡Hola! I'm from Colombia and have been teaching Spanish for over 4 years. My journey as a language teacher has been deeply fulfilling, connecting with students globally, online and in-person. Passionate about languages and their transformative power, I'm fluent in English, French, and currently learning Portuguese. With ELE certification, I offer tailored lessons for adults, children, and adolescents. Besides teaching, I'm concurrently pursuing studies in marketing and dance, including choreography direction and movement investigation. Outside of my professional pursuits, I'm also passionate about music, particularly playing the ukulele and singing. Let's start this journey together!

You instantly feel trust that Valentina is going to help you achieve your goals. She was honest with the fact that as long as you have discipline and repetition that we can achieve a fluent level of Spanish. English is not her first language and she spoke English incredible which verifies her own work ethic. I’m looking forward to planning lessons with Valentina!

I’ve had around 15 lessons with Valentina so far and have noticed a huge improvement in my Spanish in every aspect. I was making a lot of mistakes and Valentina points them out every time and teaches me how to say things correctly and fluently. She plans future lessons based on the needs she identifies in lessons and it makes a huge difference to my progress. We’re getting to know each other quite well so she knows what topics will get me speaking Spanish. As a teacher myself I’m very impressed with how she identifies what I need and delivers it in a way that makes me feel very comfortable learning.

I had my first lesson with Valentina today and it was wonderful! She is the kind of teacher I've been searching for and I'm excited to see how much I learn while working with someone who encourages independent study and is willing to work on the areas that I'm interested in as opposed to following a strict curriculum.
