Thank you, Adriana, for supporting my Romanian-language learning journey for nearly a year and a half! Your lessons, from introducing me to Romanian music, to checking written exercises that I completed, to chatting about Central Asia in Romanian, have been immensely helpful. Although I still have a ways to go before reaching fluency in Romanian, I am grateful for your help in getting to a level where I am conversant in Romanian and am comfortable expressing myself in a variety of situations without relying on English or other Latin-based languages. Thank you for teaching me about Romania, a country I have grown to love, and its unique and marvelous history and culture. I love spending time in Bucharest and am happy that we have had the chance to meet in person there. Wishing you the best of luck as you wrap up med school and know that I'll always be happy to learn from you. Mulțumesc frumos!

Adriana is very quick at reviewing my written Romanian exercises. I enjoy our classes and feel that she does an excellent job of encouraging me to speak Romanian.

Adriana was really great during my first lesson! Very helpful and also kind.

I really enjoyed my first lesson with Adriana. It seemed like she did an excellent job managing time during our lesson. There was enough time for us to do introductions, review 30 practice sentences that I had drafted in Romanian, and have some speaking practice at the end. Adriana’s Romanian is also very clear. Even though my Romanian is very basic, Adriana was able to speak to me in Romanian at just the perfect speed—challenging yet understandable. I will book more lessons with Adriana.
