I am married with a teenage son and we live in Hackney in London. I was born in Leeds and spent my formative years in Ilkley in Yorkshire, before studying Business Studies at Newcastle University and then travelling to Paris to teach English in 1982. I like to keep fit; love to play tennis and enjoy cycling and swimming. As well as sport, I enjoy reading and travel and have a great love of the outdoors and countryside, which is just as well, as I have a massive German Shepherd that requires a lot of walking.Ja jako nauczyciel
I always enjoyed English as a subject at school and received good grades. With English and my qualification in Business Studies I was then able get my first teaching job in Paris, teaching predominantly Business English in schools and in companies. Teaching gave me the opportunity to indulge my passion for travel and I spent the next four years teaching in Europe before returning to the UK to consolidate my work experience with a Diploma in TEFL. Since then I have taught mainly in central London Schools and appreciate the opportunity it has given me to really get to know people and their different cultures.Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
Generally I think that for students to learn effectively it's important to create a relaxed, less formal atmosphere in lessons, whilst also ensuring that students are being made aware of the progress they are making. However that said, I think that my lessons and teaching style are dependent to a great extent on the students - their wants and expectations; as well as their interest, needs and objectives. In lessons I like to keep the activities and pace varied in order to keep the student engaged. I tend towards a friendly personal tone, particularly in one to one lessons.Moje materiały dydaktyczne

老师超棒！很耐心，而且性格幽默诙谐，脾气也很好。会耐心地引导。
我报的是雅思课程。老师会给作业，上课的时候模拟雅思考试的实况，最后并对我的回答进行一些语法上的纠正。如果不报课的话自己真的很难察觉到自己竟然有这些小儿科的问题。
老师上课也特别有趣，我们全程都在笑。真的很开心！
