🇬🇧 Hello everyone! My name is Daniel, I'm 22 years old and I'm a languages tutor here on iTalki. I'm originally from Ireland but have lived in France for quite a few years where I also did my degree in languages at a French university which is also a pastime of mine. 🇮🇪 Is mise Dainéil agus is teagascóir pobail mé anseo ar iTalki. 🇬🇧 I like to take an active approach with my students and make sure that every lesson is well prepared and thought out. I usually spend the first lesson getting to know the student, laying out their goals and defining a general plan. I offer an array of lessons from general conversation to formal tutoring, details of which can be seen below. 🇫🇷 Je préfère avoir une approche active avec mes étudiants, en veillant à ce que chaque leçon soit bien préparée. Lors de la première leçon, je fais connaissance avec l'étudiant, définis ses objectifs et établis un plan général. Je propose divers types de leçons, allant de la conversation générale au tutorat formel, dont les détails sont ci-dessous.

🇬🇧 As mentioned, I try to have a student-driven approach when it comes to teaching languages. As I have undertaken education in three languages (🇺🇸/🇮🇪/🇫🇷), I understand the difficulties people face when learning a new language. I try to craft each lesson to fit the needs of the student, be it everyday free conversations to prepared notes on the Saxon-Genitive! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Mar a thuirt mi, bidh mi a' feuchainn ri leasanan a tha stèidhte air feumalachdan an sgoileir a chruthachadh nuair a bhios mi ag teagasc. I've been working with Daniel for a few years now and really appreciate his willingness and flexibility to work on something I'm especially interested in. I also really love how helpful he's been in helping learn to hear and use more of a Cois Fharraige dialect.

Daniel is the BEST Irish teacher. Listen! He is the BEST Irish teacher. He is passionate about teaching his native language and it shows because of the time and care he puts into teach lesson. He has power point slides, notes, etc. Each lesson is meticulous.

Daniel is such a natural teacher and so well prepared I want to only leave him terrible reviews so that nobody else ever catches on to how good he is! But honesty compels me to give him the highest possible ratings: he is prepared with some of the best produced materials I have ever seen, he is knowledgeable and helpful and encouraging and he's patient, which is helpful for when I've forgotten a word for the 400th time. I can't more highly recommend Daniel for work on Irish, especially if you're a beginner like me.
