Hi there! My name is Zita, I come from Leiden, The Netherlands, but now I'm living in Brazil. I would love to help you get started with Dutch or help you improve your Dutch language skills, and of course as a Dutch person I can give you some insights into my own culture ;-)
I studied Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology in the Netherlands. In Brazil, I have worked as an English teacher at language schools for over seven years and the last few years I've been tutoring Dutch here on Italki, which has been a great experience!

I have studied English, Spanish and Portuguese, so I know exactly how hard it is to learn a new language. That's why I always try to create a comfortable and relaxed environment during the lessons, where you feel completely free to make mistakes, as this is a very natural and necessary part of the learning process.
Each person learns very differently, so I try to figure out what kind of learner you are and where possible, adapt my lessons to your learning style, to keep you motivated and progressing.
There is nothing more rewarding than to see my students gain confidence and improve their language skills, so I'll do my best to give you the support to accomplish that!Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
Basic-Dutch Lessons: for beginners that really start from scratch! I teach you day-to-day basic conversation, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation in a clear and interactive way, to get you understanding and speaking Dutch from class 1 on. The course is very visual and focussed on speaking. It will take you from A0 to A1 level.
Conversation Practise: for students that already speak some Dutch (A2/B1 to C2). We can have an informal conversation about any topic, or I'll send you material (article/video) that you prepare beforehand and tell me about during the lesson. Or a combi of both! Meanwhile I'll correct your vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.

I've been learning Dutch with Zita and she's very good! She's friendly, always smiling, and makes the lessons feel easy and fun. She’s really professional but also approachable, making learning a new language feel less stressful. I always look forward to our sessions!
