Stopped teaching on the 7th of July 2024. Hi! Hello! Good day! My name is Nadja, I am 24 years old currently and I am a native Serbian speaker still living in Serbia. I describe myself as a nerd and enjoy anything from K-pop to the Marvel Cinematic Universe so watching movies and TV shows, reading books and listening to music are all huge passions of mine.
I am a Business student, specifically, I'm studying international management, but that's not all that interests me, psychology, contemporary YA literature, and pop culture are topics I could go on about for days!Ja jako nauczyciel
I am a people person and throughout my work in many youth organizations, I gained organizational skills and learned the importance of time management as well as working with different people.
As a non-native English speaker, I am aware of all the steps that make the journey of learning a different language and I am ready to give out tips and tricks that made my studying easier, but also a lot more fun! I have years of experience in real-life tutoring (plus two years of experience working on italki) and therefore I can confidently say I am a very flexible and communicative person who can adapt to my student's learning styles.Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
My main focus would be to create a creative and comfortable atmosphere during my classes so that my students feel both excited about learning but also not feel scared to make mistakes, after all that's how you learn. I tend to create personalized classes which are unique for each student.
My classes are usually very interactive and engaging with exercises, quizzes, and much more. All of these things and notes from every class are shared between me and my current students in a document, so revision is easier! Nadja is always very encouraging, which helps me feel a lot more confident in speaking. She also always has creative ways to help memorize and practice using new vocabulary. Great teacher! 10/10 would recommend : )

Nadja has been teaching my daughter Serbian over the past few months. She is a brilliant, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable teacher. She tailors each lesson and makes it very enjoyable.
