Another awesome lesson with Aki! If you need to improve your Japanese and want to have an incredibly fun time then she’s your go-to teacher for both progressing and enjoying the language journey you’re embarking on!

I am really impressed with how intuitive Aki-san is- she always picks up on the things that I'm struggling with, even if I don't realize what they are. Then she knows exactly what to do to help me improve. Additionally, she does all this while still having a fun and engaging conversation! ありがとうございました！また次のレッスンを楽しみにしています！

Great lesson with Aki talking about peoples obsession with likes, places that are risky to travel to, and how expensive flights are these days and which places are more affordable to travel to. It was a great lesson with really helpful notes, a fun homework assignment and explanation, and as always a great conversation!

If you are looking for not only an incredible teacher, but also an incredible human, Aki-sensei is the person you're looking for. I've studied with many teachers on italki, and no one makes me feel more comfortable. She is patient, great at continuing a conversation, an expert at explaining unknown Japanese words/ phrases in Japanese, and most importantly she makes me more passionate about learning the language. My lessons with Aki are primarily conversation practice-based. However, I have provided vocal lists or grammar points that I have struggled with in the past and she was able to explain them and integrate them into our conversation practice. I think if you are seeking conversation practice and to build speaking confidence (like me), Aki is the best teacher for you.

Another really great lesson with Aki talking about my husbands recent birding trip, showing your emotions easily, as well as not caring for materialistic things. It was a super fun lesson with really great conservation, a lot of laughs, and really helpful notes and homework assignment!
