These are modal verbs. Your grammar book certainly covers them. If you don't have a grammar book, I recommend the famous text book English Grammar in Use with answers by Raymond Murphy which can be used for independent study or for reference.

Good evening from the Philippines Ma'am Grace! May, might, could are modals of possibility. "Will" is used to talk about the future. "Would" is the past tense of "will". It is also used to ask for something. "Shall" is used for making suggestions. :) :) :)
