Is there anyone know what's the best method to improve speaking skills? Some people suggest reading, and I have read a lot. I don't feel that my speaking skill improved a lot. I also don't think grammar will help me a lot. What do you think? Is there anyone who has the experience that you felt you got improvement a lot in one month at the B2+ level?

How do you get better at anything? You practice it. Reading will help you learn vocabulary. But to learn to speak, you have to speak. The best choice is to find a teacher who guide you and correct you. The second best thing is to find a patient native speaker to interact with. After that, you could find other learners of the same language. But even in the absence of anyone to speak with, you can still simulate conversation. Stand in front of the mirror and pretend you're two different people having a conversation. Pause the audio while you're watching a movie or series and pretend you're interacting with the characters. But here's the key part: even if you're not speaking with a real live person, you have to speak out and practice composing your thoughts as you speak.

First, you’ll want to identify exactly what is holding you back right now, and then focus on overcoming that obstacle. Intermediate is a tricky stage, as everyone gets there by a different way, so every intermediate learner is different. Besides that, the method is largely irrelevant. What most people fail to understand is that the important thing is what you’re doing *inside your mind* while you practice.

I agree with Jonathan. The only way to improve your speaking skills is by practicing as much as possible. Take his advice and practice with a native, with other learners, in the mirror, and talk to yourself throughout the day. Practice.

I think the problem is the lack of speaking. As people say, practicing in front of the mirror can make a big difference. Also practicing with someone is another good way to improve speaking skills.
