I'm worried about something, so I'd appreciate it if you could ask. - why "...if you could ask"? - ask who? - maybe: "... if you could advise me." or: "... if I could ask you something. I was worried about whether to study acting at university or acting school. Where do you think is the best place to learn acting? - these two sentences are fine...
