'staff'refers to all the employees as a whole, so the entire group of employees of a business or company and an 'employee' is just one member of staff of a business or company. Kindly vistmy profile should you need any help.

Staff is all the people working there. Employee is one person (out of everyone) working there.
For example -
"The staff are really helpful." (all workers)
but can also say -
"The staff member was really helpful." (one worker out of everyone)
staff member = employee
"The employee was really helpful." (one worker)
but you can also say -
"The employees were really helpful." (all workers)
employees = staff
