I have raised two bilingual kids, and to be clear at first it was tough! Living in France in an English-speaking home, when they went out into the world and French school the first year was full of challenges. Not only were my kids faced with a new language but also cultural differences. However, through pushing through their comfort zones and making the uncomfortable comfortable, they got there. It's more than the language, in my opinion, it helps create open-minded, diverse, and empathic future adults. My hat goes off to all those children who are learning in multiple languages and become the bilingual superstars of the future :)
