Vivian
Hi,I want to know if Vivian is a common name in Western countries. Does it have any special meaning as a name? This is the name I took when I first went to university because it has a simple pronunciation. But now I think Chloe sounds like a nice name.

"Vivian" is neither common or rare. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Vivian is the actress Vivian Leigh, who played Scarlett O'Hara in the movie "Gone with the Wind (1939). The second is another actress, Vivian Blaine, who played Adelaide in the Broadway musical "Guys & Dolls" (1950). It also makes me think of the words "vivid" and "vivacious." "Chloe" used to be a rather old-fashioned name, but it is experiencing a big wave of popularity.

I'm from America and both names are nice and still used. I feel like Chloe is a really popular name and Vivian is a little older but again, both are great. I don't think therrme are any deeper meanings behind these names but I could be wrong.

Both Vivian and Chloe are really nice-sounding names! I would say Chloe is a little more popular nowadays. ✨

It is good to stick with one name. I think Chloe is more popular with younger people right now. There is a sort of name trend sometimes :) They both sound nice :)
