What does "hein" mean in portuguese?

I will give you some examples to a better understanding:
Hein: {interj.} (also: hum!, hem) = huh, ha, eh {interj.}
Porque está sempre se metendo em confusão, hein? Why you always got to show your ass, man, huh?
Fazem um coral e tanto, hein? They're quite a choir, ha?
Nunca andas sozinho, hein companheiro? You'll never walk alone, eh, mate?
Espero que você beije as primas, hein? Then hope I that you of that inteelt be, or not?

Possivelmente vai encontrar nos dicionários como hem. É uma especie de pedido de confirmação.
Interjeição para "como?", "ouvi corretamente?", "pode confirmar?", "tem certeza?" etc.

It is an interjection that people use in some situations; for example:
- when you didnt understand something
- when you didnt hear something
- when something is very surprising
- when you are outraged
It means "WHAT?!?" in English
