Can we use "ever" in affirmative sentences?
I am tired of hearing that we have to use it in negative and interrogatives sentences only. But, what happen when find it in affirmative one`s.
That's why, I want to discuss these sentences:

I don't think I will ever able to speak in English. (maybe,it is used so, because the begining is negative.)

The first ever cartoon produced in our country. ( I don`t have idea, I thought "ever" was an adjective, but it is imposible, besides it is affirmative)

You came home late as ever. (it means as at any time in the past, but it is in affirmative; however, as ever is phrase.)
