what does 'sayang mau' mean?

"Sayang" is "What a waste" or "That's too bad".
I'm not sure what's mau.. maybe that's a name?

sayang means waste or its like regret.
while mau or mao word I think its not a tagalog language. Its a cebuano dialect here in the philippines which means indeed or agreed to something to what has been the first statement of the conversation.
