Che cos'è il plurale di pesce....se c'è una parola ??
In English grammar, we have one fish (singolare) or many fishes (plurale) But usually say...."there are many fish ( not fishes) in the sea" or " a good seafood shop sells all kinds of fish.(not fishes ) .In both cases the word "fish" is singular although referring to many fish.......What is the Italian grammar regarding this word

Puoi trattare /pesce/ e /pesci/ allo stesso modo (grammaticale) di come tratti
/gatto/ e /gatti/, ma non li mettere vicini (da vivi).
Differenza: il gatto esiste in versione grammaticale maschile e femminile (la gatta), il pesce e` grammaticalmente solo maschile.

there are many fish ( not fishes) in the sea. -> "Ci sono molti pesci nel mare." or "C'è una grande abbondanza di pesce nel mare" /////
a good seafood shop sells all kinds of fish. -> Un buon pescivendolo vende tutti i tipi di pesce.
