It is flexible if you make a pause in 'Malam, hari Kamis'. So it becomes 'In the evening, on Thursday'.
Haris Kamis malam would be the equivalent of, 'On Thursday evening'.
As you can see, you can say both ways in English, too.

Hari kamis malam.
but although without hari .. is ok
only kamis malam that's enough
for ex : A : Besok jadi kan ? hari apa ?
B : Jadi dong, kamis malam jam 7 / hari kamis jam 7 malam.
