What's the meaning of "through"? What's the meaning of "through"? I thought "through 1995" was meaning of from the beginning of 1995 to the end of 1995, but when I saw translation which was written until 1995. Which is correct? Thanks in advance!

British and American English speakers use this differently. An American is likely to say "from June through August", meaning, starting in June and continuing until the end of August. A British English speaker is more likely to say "from June until August", or "from June through to the end of August".

This word can be used both ways. It is very flexible so both seem correct.
