How does she look like vs What does she look like... Hi guys! So I was reading a discussion about Taylor Swift a few minutes ago, and one of the comments said this "My sister likes how she looks like" At the beginning I was confused, but is this correct? Is not in a question form so How you native speakers would say it ? "My sister likes what she looks like..." " or " My sister likes how she looks like" ?.... Searching a litte bit more, I found out that doing that in a question form is bad (with the how) like " How is the house like?".And I know is about appearance but can't get it.... I could say that the comment is driving me crazy because is a dispute between my knowledge and the confusion... Help !

It is correct to say 'What does she look like?'. This is asking for general information about someone's appearance. It is also correct, but less common, to say 'How does she look?'. This is asking for someone's judgement about this person, for example 'Does she look well or ill?' It is NOT correct to say 'How does she look like?'. This question makes no sense. So your sentence could either be 'My sister likes what she looks like' or 'My sister likes how she looks.'

It should be : "My sister likes how she looks." or My sister likes the way she looks
