Heinous or Hideous What is the difference between them? Usage? What do natives think?

Heinous is usually used to describe an act or behavior. Hideous is usually used to describe the way something looks. Murder is a heinous crime, and carries a stiff penalty for those who are convicted. What was the designer thinking when he designed such a hideous dress?

Hi Hideous means really ugly, disgusting or unsightly Heinous is more like evil or wicked
