How to say "the 1st floor" in German?
In English, people say "I live on the 1st floor". But I remember that "Ich wohne im ersten Stock" in Germany means "I live on the 2nd floor". Well, how to say "the 1st floor" in German?
Thank you.

Well, actually it depends.. Are you talking about the American "first floor" or the British "first floor"? The American first floor would be "Erdgeschoss" and the British first floor is "erster Stock" ;-)

Zhao, it's "Erdgeschoss". So "I live on the 1st floor" is "ich wohne im Erdgeschoss"
