다르다, 다라요 I think '다라요' means: it is different. But I could not completely understand the information on line. (Naver Dictionary.) What does 다라요 mean exactly? And am I spelling this correctly? I just heard the sentence, I did not read it. How can you say: This thing is different from that other thing! In Korean.

--와 다르다 means 'different with --", "distinct from--" 다른, 다르다, 달라요--> adjective, verb, a colloquial style For example, We need a slightly different approach. 조금은 다른 접근법이 필요하다 The language of that region is quite distinct from that of its neighbors. 그 지방 언어는 주변 지역의 언어와 상당히 다르다. Consonants are frequently assimilated to the consonants which they precede. Therefore 달아요(to be sweet) and 닳아요(to be worn down) have the same phenomenon assimilation. ----->>달아요=다라요, 닳아요=다라요
