Hello Sophia, Scene: from latin scena, scaena is stage ,it means rather a place of an occurrence or action. It could also portray graphic art consisting of the graphic or photographic representation of visual percepts. It could be a view or a picture of a place, an assemblage of objects presented to the view at once; a series of actions and events exhibited in their connection; a spectacle; a show; an exhibition; a view. A landscape, or part of a landscape; scenery. So it could be a synonym of scenery as well in certain contexts. Scenery on the other hand means a picturesque view or landscape ,a general appearance of natural surroundings in particular ,specially when they are beautiful . The scenery of the stretched mountains etc.. In your example the neon lights dotted on the building present a view that is not natural but consists of repeated patterns that makes them spectacle ;so it is rather a scene.

Scene and Scenery are both nouns. Scene means a view of a place or an activity, especially in a painting or photograph. Scenery on the other hand, means surroundings, especially when regarded as picturesque (visually appealing). "In the evening, the neon lights dotted on the building are glowing and blinking. The scenery is really beautiful." This is according to the person looking at the scene.

应该是scene吧, 因为scenery多是用来指风景的,而 scene 用来表现特定的场景.....这个地方应该是特定的场景。 这些都是些习惯用法,解释也是没有用的......呵呵
