Which one is correct? 1. She helps my mother (to) cook dinner

2. She helps my mother with cooking dinner

3. She helps my mother cooking

I'm sure that the first and the second one are correct, but I'm on the fence if the last is correct. Also, I'm in two minds whether the first one is well said or the second one.

Thanks in advance.

The first one, "she helps my mother cook dinner" sounds the most natural to me. The other ones seem correct, but less succinct.

The verb help can be followed by: a gerund ... She helps my mother cooking dinner/with cooking dinner. (not common) an infinitive ... She helps my mother to cook dinner. (not common) a bare infinitive ... She helps my mother cook dinner. (most common - as Jason said)
